The story of how I got here, started back in 2013 during my first year of teaching high school social studies and coaching volleyball. A student of mine invited me to join the school wide huddle and from there I became a huddle supervisor and attended the high school coaches bible studies. In the spring of 2014 I was asked to attend the high school leadership camp at Fort Caswell, NC, and it was here that the Lord spoke to me and it is here that I realized that being a part of a completely student led faith based organization on a greater basis was the plan God had for me.
In June of 2014, the United States Coast Guard moved my husband and I to Oregon. There, I continued teaching and coaching and I found myself pining to get back to FCA; searching for a way to continue being involved. However, I believe the Lord didn't think I was ready.
Six years, a marriage, two sweet boys and lots and lots of prayers later, the Lord is bringing us back home and has opened up the door for me to become involved again with FCA.
Getting to this point has not been easy and our family has faced a number of hardships, however through those He has tested me, encouraged me, and I firmly believe he has fully prepared me to begin this Great Commission.
I am so excited to see where and how He plans on using me. I know the Lord is in control and that this path He las laid out before me is going to be a journey and one I can't do without the love, prayer, and support from friends, family, businesses, churches, and community members like you!
